Close Quarters weapons list with detailed gun info

By now you may have seen the list of weapons for the upcoming Close Quarters expansion for Battlefield 3. All weapons are said to be unlocked with assignments, just as in Back to Karkand.

Today I’ve put together a preview of what to expect from these weapons.

ASSAULT CLASS:
AUG Assault Rifle
–    Moderate damage, medium rate of fire, low/medium recoil, full auto/burst/single fire, and 30 rounds.
SCAR Assault Rifle
–    Moderate damage, medium rate of fire, low/medium recoil, full auto/burst/single fire, and 30 rounds.

ENGINEER CLASS:
ACW-R Carbine
–    Moderate damage, high rate of fire, medium to high recoil, full auto/single fire, and 30 rounds.
MTAR-21 Carbine
–    Moderate damage, high rate of fire, medium recoil, full auto/single fire, and 30 rounds.

RECON CLASS:
M417 Sniper Rifle
–    Moderate/high damage, low/medium rate of fire, medium/high recoil, full auto/single fire, and 10-20 rounds.
JNG-90 Sniper Rifle
–    High damage, low rate of fire, high recoil, single fire, and 10 rounds.

SUPPORT CLASS:
L86LSW Machine Gun
–    Moderate/high damage, medium rate of fire, medium/high recoil, full auto/single fire, and 30 rounds.
LSAT Machine Gun
–    Moderate/high damage, medium rate of fire, high recoil, full auto/single fire, and 100 rounds.

ALL CLASSES:
M5K Tactical Machine Pistol
–    Low/moderate damage, high rate of fire, low recoil, full auto/single fire, and 15-30 rounds.
SPAS-12 Shotgun
–    High damage at close range, low/medium rate of fire, high recoil, full auto/single fire, and 9 rounds.

Though many of these stats look similar to BF3 and B2K guns, we can expect the recoil, spread, and effect of attachments to set each of them apart. If you already have a favorite gun for each class that’s similar to one above, a new Close Quarters weapon from the list may just overtake it as your weapon of choice.
